  • DSTV Versus TSTV

No doubt, DSTV has served Nigerians for a very long period of time but here is the time to think twice. DSTV, according to many customers has ripped off people in many ways but TSTV is a cheaper alternative that also offers a whole lot of channels.

DSTV shows live English Premier League matches same as TSTV. You can so enjoy Live La Liga and Champions League matches on TSTV.

Now the big deal, you can pause your subscription and you can connect your laptop and phones to the wifi and enjoy 20GB data to browse and download your favorite files with TSTV Decoder.

It’s very affordable and the subscription price starts as low as N200. If they make do with their promises and plans, then it’s a bad business to MultiChoice and other network providers in Nigeria as many people will now rely on the wifi instead of the usual monthly subscription from MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9Mobile etc.

TSTV operate on a different platform, multichoice only have rights over satelitte channel not telecom broadcast, the technology that will be used by Tstv according to some is hbb, which hybrid or fusion of satellite and telcom to view television. Believe is that channels like bein sports that will broadcast the football leagues since dstv has no right over them.

Check out Audi’s future truck

Audi’s plan for the future seems very promising with its semi-autonomous and self-driving vehicle concepts and development. The company intends to make the future of trucks a brilliant one with the development of a prototype for its future truck.

Future concept design for Audi truck

This is just one of the many concept designs presented for a review by Audi. Many design authors have equally presented their works to the likes of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Peugeot and even Toyota. But then, this particular truck concept is a nerve-wracking and unbelievable at the same time.

Primarily intended to transport heavy duty goods like oil, it rocks a sporty and futuristic look.

Basically, the plan is to make an electric autonomously driving truck with two options:
Option A is an electric truck autonomously driving for highway. Option B is an electric truck show car.

Audi decided to develop both directions to choose the best one. Plan failed. They were unable to choose the best one, so They are presenting you both versions.

Zenith Bank has taken a cover on 30% of its 9mobile loan – CEO

We have taken about 30 percent … as a provision which we believe is very prudent as the company is undergoing restructuring … to prepare for a new investor, the bank chief told a conference call.

Recall that Nigerian regulators stepped in last month to save Etisalat Nigeria from collapse and prevent lenders placing the country’s fourth biggest telecoms group into receivership, prompting a board, management and name change.

The telecoms, 9Mobile, had taken out a $1.2 billion loan four years ago from a consortium of banks but struggled to repay it due to a currency crisis and a recession in Nigeria.

Although Zenith Bank has declined to disclose its total exposure to the telecoms group, a source close with the matter said the bank is the largest lender to 9Mobile.

Last week, Zenith Bank reported a pre-tax profit of 92.18 billion naira for its half year against 53.91 billion a year ago.

The bank’s shares were down 1.05 percent on Monday. Zenith Bank had announced a 0.25 naira dividend payout with its half-year results, which disappointed the market.

The local banks which participated in 9Mobile’s loan deal are: Zenith Bank GTBank, First Bank , UBA, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank , Ecobank, First City Monument Bank , Stanbic IBTC Bank and Union Bank.
